About Megan.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), a Licensed School Counselor, and have a Masters in Education in Counseling from The University of Virginia.

I have over 20 years of experience working with various populations and needs.

I worked in college career services, helping young adults find meaning after high school
and beyond. I have also served as a school counselor in the Albemarle County school system, assisting students in navigating various issues and helping parents navigate the 504 and IEP processes. In addition, I have run social skills groups in a private setting for children on the autism spectrum.

As a mom of 3, I have stayed home and worked both part-time and full-time…and it is all hard for different reasons. I enjoy supporting moms as they navigate each phase of life.

My background in working with children and teens allows me the perspective to help parents understand each age and stage while, more importantly, helping you take care of yourself so you can be the best version of you with your kids (and how to offer yourself grace when you are not).
